CADsoft Consulting Support Terms and Conditions


CADsoft Consulting offers the following support services to you upon the condition that you accept all of the terms contained in this support services contract. Your payment of the CADsoft Consulting Support Program fee indicates your assent to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

Contacting CADsoft Consulting Technical Support Department

When you have an active support contract you can contact the CADsoft Technical Support Department by the follow¬ing methods:

There is no limit on the frequency or length of support inquiries. Support is available from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Arizona Time Monday through Friday, excluding noon to 1:00 pm for lunch. There will be no support assistance on weekends or holidays and such non-supported days will not be counted for the purpose of response time.

Support Contract Duration

Each support contract is good for one year, starting from the date the payment is received. Each support contract is valid for a single office location with number of contacts per contract as described below.

eLearning Subscription included in Professional Support

CADsoft Consulting Professional Support contract includes a free 90 day Subscription of eLearning courses. The 90 day Subscription includes one (1) eLearning login per license covered under a Professional Support contract. The login for the class needs to match the domain name of the company that has purchased the product (i.e. @cadsoft-consult.com.com) AND be someone affiliated with the office location that owns the Professional Support contract. If there are individuals in offices without Professional Support contracts they can either purchase Professional Support contracts for that office or purchase individual or corporate eLearning courses.

Each contract has a unique Contract Name that exclusively indicates the products that are supported under that contract.

NOTE:

  • CADsoft Consulting customers who purchase Autodesk products on subscription will receive a Standard Support Contract free of charge.
  • Autodesk supports the last three releases of the latest product at any time. CADsoft Consulting will NOT support any product releases that Autodesk does not support.

What is Covered

CADsoft Consulting warrants that it will use reasonable efforts to provide technical product support per the terms of this Contract. CADsoft Consulting does not warrant that it will be able to answer all of Customer’s questions about the Product as utilized by Customer for Customer’s business or personal purposes, or that CADsoft Consulting will be able to suggest solutions or workarounds for all difficulties or errors encountered by the Customer. Under the terms of this Contract, CADsoft Consulting will provide support assistance in the areas of the following:

  • Product behavior versus documentation specifications
  • Error messages
  • File corruption diagnosis

In-depth product training, implementation services, and product customization services will not be provided under the terms of this Contract. CADsoft Consulting will provide support assistance where the product is installed on a supported operating system and the workstation meets the minimum system requirements as described in the manufacturer’s product documentation. No representation is made, and no guarantee is given that CADsoft Consulting will be able to answer questions posed by Customer regarding hardware, operating systems, networks, or software written by other manufacturers or authors.

Contract Names and Supported Software

Each contract has a unique Contract Name that exclusively indicates the products that are supported under that contract.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

  • CADsoft Consulting customers who purchase Autodesk products on subscription will receive a Standard Support Contract free of charge.
  • Autodesk supports the last three releases of the latest product at any time. CADsoft Consulting will NOT support any product releases that Autodesk does not support.
  • Pricing is based on the number of users for the following services:
    • License File Creation
    • License File Configuration
    • Options File Configuration
    • Software Deployment Configuration
    • Product Downloads
    • Remote Installation
  • CADsoft Consulting reserves the right to provide service remotely vs. onsite based on service location.
  • Software deployment, testing, and product downloads is limited to one product version per support contract year.
