Keith Warren of CALTROP will share the process of CIM (Civil Information Modeling) and how using advance design technology along with scanning they created a foundation for intelligent infrastructure design. Keith will share an example of using LiDAR scanning into InfraWorks to build accurate digital models of subsurface utilities for the city of Las Vegas.

James Wedding, P.E. is a Senior Technical Specialist with Autodesk focusing on Infrastructure and Data Management solutions. A ten-year veteran of the land development industry, James has spoken numerous times at Autodesk University, AU Brasil, AUGI Cad Camps, and other regional events. In his time with Autodesk, James has worked with companies all over the globe to implement Civil 3D, Vault, and InfraWorks, bringing a pragmatic approach and in-the-field experience to software and industry challenges

Keith Warren, Sr. Program Manager CALTROP has over 28 years accomplished professional experience with a variety of AEC projects that include Commercial/Residential developments, Public Works, Virtual Design and Construction. He is a passionate leader in BIM, IPD, Subsurface Utility Engineering and Reality/Data Capturing. He strongly believes in the benefits these advanced modeling technologies deliver to the industry. He has extensive project delivery experience in the use of Virtual Design and Construction that plays a pivotal role in the cultivation, potential and betterment of these modeling technologies.
